knocking on breaking/cornering/accelerating

Hi guys,

I've checked out my car a few times and I don't seem to find anything that's lose, crooked broken or anything :)

Thing is when I break hard I hear a knocking sound from the front of the car, just one or sometimes two knocks. After that if I accelerate I can hear it again sometimes.. Like something is loose and has to fall into place.. When I corner hard, I drive quite aggressive sometime I can also hear it on breaking before entering the corner while turning. First time I noticed it was while cornering hard, it seems it has become worse over time.

Sucks english isnt my primary language so I'm not sure about part names, I've changed tie rods and the other long rod thats attached to the sway bar.. I'm thinking its a shock absorber topmount or a control arm that's bad but I dunno.. Can't find anything when I have it up and looking under it.

I'm to cheap to take it to the shop and I'm to lazy to take it apart atm ;)

It's a -2000 A3 8L 1.8T Quattro

Thanks!

Sounds Like a bad bushing in the front suspension. Only reason you hear it but cant feel it is you cant put enough force on it to make it repeat itself. I would just start slowly replacing them all. Its a good upgrade and not to expensive if you can do the work yourself.
