KW Variant 3 Installed

My A3 baby had quite the weekend.

First, she lost her Mojo! Was driving along Sunday morning, all normal, then a almost TOTAL loss of acceleration power. D wouldn't let the engine rev past 2000(TDI engine, 4500 is the redline) and got wasted by a Toyota Vios...something even slower than a Yaris! Took it in today, the speed shop said it was the ESP taking over. They reset it and all is well, even updated my superchips and wow better than ever.

Also, I installed KW variant 3 coilovers. Wanted the 2s, but the price was great on the 3s and the shop says well worth it given Taiwan's rough roads. They do sport tuning for peuget and citroen race teams in tw and the guy knows a thing or two about suspension.

Dropped the car at the back so that the top of the wheel is in the well, and lowered the front 4cm. No rubbing, sweet ride, better than stock, loving it on 20km of driving it, let you guys know after more driving. I'll put some pics up too when i get the car cleaned up!

So my question....does anyone think there is a market for Audi OEM suspension with 8000km on it? If there is, anyone know a price?

Thanks!!!

I gotta tell ya, you're a braver man than I am. I was on crutches following a badly broken leg during two of my trips to Taipei, and geez, I could barely get aroundbecause things were so torn up from the earthquake (I even fell twice when one of the crutches broke through into an underlying hole). I cannot begin to imagine driving an S-Line A3 there much less a lowered one. :)

Hey Shipo,

Nah, Taiwan is a pretty dynamic place! I was here during the earthquake too, and things are quite a bit better since then! Been 24 hours on it, and a parked at a few of the electronic parking bays with the elevators...I can get the car onto the tray without any problems with rubbing. :)

Plus, avoiding the potholes adds to the joy of urban driving in Taiwan. How fast can you react!? :)

TPE sounds great. Now I know we would all love to see pictures of the stance.
Was thinking about the KW's when I go to do my suspension. Give us an update in about a month after the newness has warn off.

I'll get a pic up in the next day or so...my baby is dirty from all the rain we have been having! Need a clear day and a detail, and then I'll post. She's looking sweet!

These are a few of the pics, sorry for reposting, but this should be an easier way to display them. Interested in what you all think. Also, do you think a blacked-out grill with black ring would look good with my colour?
