Hi, first time on this forum. Wondering if anyone can give me some tips and advice on what to look out for when buying an audi a3. Looking to buy an audi a3 S line 2013-15. Are there common issues to look at or anything specific. How is ownership like? How is maintenance like aswell?

I've honestly had very few issues with the car (2015). Compared to my 2001 B5 A4, I couldn't ask for a more reliable car.

I wish it had Android Auto and was a bit better on the technology, but I can't complain. I' looking into an RSNav or similar solution for that.

I had an issue with coolant leaking once, seems to be a common problem. I have a funny creaking noise when starting the air conditioner from a cold-start. Not sure what that's about, but I'm about to get it checked out. There was recently a recall on the MMIsystem, some security issue. Just make sure you bring it to the dealership and ensure it's up to date, should be free-of-charge until 2022.
