Lowering

Lowering
I am looking at suspension options and I was wondering if coilovers are the best option. Are they the only type of adjustable suspension? Is there a less costly option that is still reliable? Thanks in advance for your help.

RE: Lowering
depends on how you drive, but if you just want to lower it with driving your car hard, then get lowering springs, but they will get soft over time, i recomend you do coilovers, that'll last through the life of your car, it won't get soft on you, and it's adjustable. it's kinda costly, but it's sooooo worth the $

Also depends on what size wheels your planning on putting on the car 17' - 18' with a cup kit would be fine this option drops the car the least amount.
Coil-overs drop it the most, throw 19's and expect some rubbing in hard cornering and bumps.
Oh btw i have my s-line stock audi shocks w/h&r sport springs for sale.

Stryker > I'm looking at the H&R sport cup kit and I noticed you have them. Some distributers say they require a new front swaybar for driveshaft clearance and some don't. Did you have to replace the front swaybar?
