Moving Audi A3 to Europe (from US)
We are planning on moving our 2006 Audi A3 to Europe and we need to know what changes need to be made to the car.
As far as I can tell there are 2 things we need to do:
1) Enable rear fog lights (only front ones work in the US)
2) Change tail lights so blinking signal is ambar instead of red
I haven't found anywhere how to do those changes and my local dealer is kind of useless on this matter. Does anyone know how to do the 2 things above? what part numbers are required (if any)? or any description of the procedures? or a dealer in the Seattle area that could do this? or if any other changes are required?
Thanks,

http://oempl.us/ has the euro taillights and the switch you will need to enable the rear fog light, you will also need someone with a vag-com to turn the rear fog light on. Takes about half an hour to swap out the taillights and headlight switch.

OOOO-A3 has a complete VAG-COM coding reference on his page, cant directly link to the info for the rear fog, but its a little down the page.

and a step by step for installing the taillight units, its pretty easy but pictures always help.

The US A3 trunk lid needs to be changed. US plates are much shorter than european ones.
Well, there is a solution , it is called square style european plate but it's pretty ugly....
