My 2007 Ocean Blue was stolen and totaled.
My A3 board friends, I have not had a post in a long while, and I'm afraid I have bad news.
Over the weekend, while out of town,my 2007 Premium loaded A3 was stolen out of my garage, taken on a joy ride and crashed at a high rate of speed. Three juveniles are injured/ in custody. I do know the driver. No need to get into the details. Crime is solved, however the Audi is gone (totaled). I'm told they were doing 100mph, hit a parked F250 truck, launchedthe truckover 100 feet, Audi skidded to a stop on fire, someone put it out. Kids are alive. The driver well enough to be taken to jail.
I was going to take the pictures from the newpaper site and post here, but that would be stealing, just like those kids did to me. Here is the link to the local paper, there are pictures. I have had several comments from the police and bystanders on how amazing the safety is in this car.

OMG that is crazy at least no one was hurt badly. Those pictures are intense but a testiment to the saftey of the car. Anyway good luck with the next few weeks i bet they are going to be difficult.

Ditto JohnS1 - didn't see "stolen car" anywhere in that article. Huge bummer Jefferson. I hope the diver has the rings embedded on his forehead to remind him what an idiot he is.

Well, the criminal is a juvenile, and they printed the original story before doing any sort of journalism on who the car belongs too. I'm actually working on a press release, just in case they contact me. Otherwise I think I'm smart to lay low.

That's crazy! I'm very sorry about your loss, but I'm sure that insurance will take care of it all and you can buy a brand new baby. Good to visually see the safety that this car provides.
