Black grills look great on white, black and red Audi's, but not so much on the other colors. That saves me some $$$, as I have lava grey.

I agree with you yuppie i to have the lava grey and i'm keeping my grill stock. The chrome grill will have to match the emblem and the lips on my wheels.

Nam are you going for the euro plate look next? Or are you going to keep it clean?
nah, i'm going to keep it clean, tint, smoke out my rears, and if i'll EVER have money, i'll get some black rims, but i'll keep dreaming.

Nam, Where'd you get that piece for your front grille?
How hard was it to install?

FYI VAG PARTS sells a tag insert for the grille where your euro tag will fit in instead of mounted on top of the original piece.
Pretty nice mod if one thinks about getting a euro plate, too bad i found out after i purchased mine.
Same piece nam has just picture it with a cut out space for the euro tag.

i got mine at ecstuning.com, i'm pretty sure you can find it for cheaper if you spend time searching the net. although i bought it with the chrome on it, i just took it apart and painted it black myself. same with the lip, i didn't buy an insert, i just painted the lip also.

20% in the back, 35% in the front. =) I was happy with that.
anything lower than 20% is very very hard to see at night time.
At least you can see some things with 20%

Give me a PM if you live near the Los Angeles area, I know 2 places that do good job with lifetime warrenty against peeling, bubbling, ect. =)

I guess I will jump on the bandwagon and say that 20% is not dark at all. No problems seeing at night. I have had 15% all around and that was a non-issue as well. Id say anything above 10% will be fine. On a separate note: has anyone heard of someone getting a ticket for having windows tinted too dark? I have mine 10% below legal limit, but I can't ever remember hearing of someone getting a "citation".

tinted my Windows today, did a 35% all around, it's good for me, considering i need to watch out for cops while driving, 20% would've been great for me, but i like 35%, it looks clean on my audi.
