Default Neuspeed RSB Setting

Does anyone have any strong opinions as to which setting I should start with on my Neuspeed RSB? I just got it today and hope to be installing it tomorrow and wondered if the stiff setting is too stiff to start with or if the soft setting is too soft?

Thanks,
Joe

Soft is still quite stiffer than a stock bar, soft and medium are both fine for daily street use - they drastically reduce understeer, and it's simplypersonal preference.I've got mine set medium for street driving and i'mhappy with it - don't worry about the asymmetry. You can really hang the rear out with stiff setting.

I'd forgotten about that discussion - that's pretty good info. I'm on medium with my Neuspeed, probably due to having FSD's and sticky tires. Soft is probably the best place to start if your suspension is otherwise stock.

Yeah I read that thread before I posted this and it's very informative but not so telling as to what a diverse input might suggest. I installed the Neuspeed RSB today and used the softer setting and I must say that I'm none too impressed. It does seem to handle understeer better than the factory bar but not so much that I would call it revelational. I suppose I will move it to the stiff setting tomorrow and see if that is more satisfying.

Yeah. I have mine on the stiffest setting and I can get the rear to break out if I work real hard at it. I think the stiffest setting makes the car balance neutral going into turns. The RSB is a valuable tool in suspension tuning for our cars.

Cheers!

I have mine on the soft setting becauseI don't have Open Skye (+200lbs at highest point of vehicle), so I would expect my A3 to "roll" less due to the lower center of gravity.
