So I had a shakey start with my audi ownership, the audi salesman said the audi i took home had cold weather package but after trying to find the seat heaters i realize it didnt. So i took it into the dealship intending to raise hell but they were super apolligetic and although they didnt have and cold weather with audio packages so i ended up getting an A3 dsg black on black with s-line, COLD WEATHER and open sky. since the cold weather was less than the bose upgrade they offered to give me back the difference throw in a ipod adapter and take and additional 750 off. But i am now a happy A3 owner!!!! I think it worked out for the best though b/c now i have cash to put toward an APR chip the local APR shop quoted me 875 for the chip, two settings, and labor. Does that sound like a fair price? Also on the drive home it became apparent that i am going to need a radar detector any suggestions? Thanks for your help!! Here are some pics:

Nice lookin A3 bro. I wouldn't pay $875 for the chip personally. Also get a Revo over a APR. The Revo has a lot more power than the APR and is $100 cheaper last time I checked.

Here is a APR vs. Revo vs. AWE (GIAC)comparison:

Base: 200bhp / 207ft/lbs. Torque
Revo: 260bhp / 299ft/lbs. Torque $499
APR: 246bhp / 282ft/lbs. Torque $599
AWE: 230bhp / 267ft/lbs. Toque $550

Personally I would go with Revo

Nice pics. Here's my $.02 - if you have a DSG transmission, then I'd go with the APR, but you might be able to get a better deal than that quote. The REVO is cheaper and works most excellently for me, but some have complained and said the transitions with the APR software and the DSG are more seemless. Also, I don't care what the web-site claims are for the software, they are very similar. If you look on Fortitude, there is a chap that has some extensive graphs on that subject. Any tuner you choose will definitely give you a big boost over stock, just make sure you'll be happy with the program years down the road.

Cheers!
