Hello, from germany. I'm an american with an american spec car in germany and have hade my A3 3.2L for a couple of days and less than 200 miles. I have a qustion about setting the compass. I asked the dealer here and he did not know since it is an american car. The qustion is how inportant is it to chose the correct magnetic deflection zone when setting the digital compass? and any guess what I should chose?

 

Hello and welcome! Sorry to say nobody in the US (including myself) would be of much good here. We didn't get the compass feature [&o]

 

Not sure how it works on the A3, but on my old car which had a compass, you just had to find an empty parking lot and drive in a circle 3-4 times and it would calibrate itself. Might be worth a shot
