I have '07 A3 2.0T.
this morning i noticed that no air at all was coming out of the vents. i tried switching from the feet one, the mid ones or the windshield ones but nothing. the control units still works, everything lights up, when i change the fan speed, it show on the display but there is no effect in the air flow. there is simply no airflow period no matter what i try to do

ideas? i have set up an appointment with the stealership on Wednesday

what do you guys think?

Sounds like the fan isn't working at all. Who knows??? Definitely a warranty issue.

Im sure you've checked but what the heck

Did you try turning the silver rim on each A/C vent? maybe someone played a joke on you and turned all the silver rims so they didnt put out any air.

 

That is exactly what I was thinking...and the reason I was thinking this is because it happened to me. My GF had been driving my car and for some reason closed all the vents.

OP, do your floor or defroster vents work?

 

Not sure if you were directing it to me but I usually keep my car's AC temp on the lowest temperature all the time and I would think turning on the defroster would automaticly change the air settings to hot so it would defrost but I have to manually do it my self :-/

the floor ac seems to work well tho, don't use it much so im not 100% sure

 

Sorry for the confusion, the last part of my previous response was directed at the OP (original poster).

 

Entire network went down at work today, so this is the first time i checked AF.
all the vents are open, and the defroster is not working either. i mean nothing is working, NADA! there is no air coming out of anywhere. for a second i sorta felt a very feeble flow last night, but i dont know if it was really there or i was hoping it was there.
i'm bringing it in on Wednesday

i'll keep you guys posted, maybe it's the compressor? i know other members mentioned defective compressors before.

car only has 14K miles, a little bummed

 

Im pretty sure my AC compressor is broken and all thats happening is its not putting out cold air just warm air on the coolest temperature. Sounds like its your whole ac :-/

I recently encountered the problem with no air coming through, i am pretty sure I checked all the applicable fuses, but could not find any blown. Do you now know what the problem was and how to fix it?
