Only 80k miles! But.,,

Newby, here, to the Audi scene. I just retired, am giving my son our Prius, and need a replacement for me. (Wife has a Golf.). I want a mid-life-crisis sports car; she wants me to get something that can handle a Home Depot run. :( Since I can’t afford a Porsche Cayenne, it occurred to me that an A3 “wagon” would fit both needs, too. I found a 2009 A3 with 2.0T and manual tranny in beautiful condition, and the asking price ( $8000) reflects that. However, I also realize that the car may be approaching replacement time for the clutch, brakes, etc. AND... this is where y’all come in... other stuff, too. Should I expect to have to replace the water pump, timing belt (chain?) or anything else in the next 40,000 miles or so? Would it be better to find a car with more miles that’s already had that stuff replaced?
