Had my car about a couple of months now and very pleased so far with it.
It's a tdi (100bhp) 3 door 03 year and last of the old shape?
According to the manual on the standard version there should be outside temperature indicator fitted,though It's not showing on the display.

 

It depends if you have the 'onboard computer' as an option on your car. It is probable that in the manual, the seciton regarding the outside temperature reading is in red, which indicates an optional feature.

 

thanks yes,driver information section certainly shows outside temperature as fitted with this option.
Page before this section though shows outside temperature as fitted to standard version??

 

Think there may be a difference between US and UK specs. I assume you are from the UK or Europe since you have a 100bhp TDI which I don't believe was released in the US. It could just be that outside temp sensor comes as standard over there.
