Paint peeling on window switch -- What to do?

Any ideas on how to deal with the paint peeling on the driver's side window switch? Is this a common problem? Will Audi take responsibility for it?

Many people have reported this problem. I've heard of many getting it replaced under warranty.

I have that problem on a couple driver's switches, and plan on having them replace it at the next service (45k miles). They better not fight me on it or I'll sock them in the nose. LOL

Cheers!

Got mine replaced under warranty. Car had less than 20k miles on it at the time.

I asked Penske Audi (West Covina) to replace my peeling switches at my 15K service and they refused, saying it fell under normal 'wear and tear.' I suppose I will try a permanent sharpie to color the white part black.
By the way, I suspect Penske also 'unchipped' me, despite my having specifically told them not to reflash me. Don't know how to prove it without a boost gauge, to hold them responsible. I have lost that throttle 'snap' when upshifting or otherwise popping the gas.
Damn it.

Neuspeed will reflash it for free if you tell them what happened. Those guys in Camarillo are awsome. Delt with them with my Honda and my Jetta's Loved having them in my back yard. Now its 1500 miles to get to them.

Lectrolink > Ditto on the Neuspeed crew. It might be worth the drive up to Camarillo just to have them confirm whether your boost is out. Did you own the car when they flashed it? If so, they shouldn't give you any problem with a reflash. I work around the corner from them and know them all pretty well. PM me if you want any assistance. You can use me as a referral if it helps.
