Default post pics please!

im looking at getting some new rims on my silver a3. its lowered with h&r COs on stock rims and looks kinda funny. was wondering if people could post pics of their a3s with 18s or 19s. im thinking of rs4 reps /csl reps but im still undecided. im also wondering if there would be rubbing issues with 8.5s rather than 8s. ideally i would love to get he 18x8 bbsch in black with finished lip but those are way to pricey. i think 18s look kinda small on the a3s but maybe its because most photos i've seen are a3s that arent lowered so i really need your help. I could run 19s but they would just be for the summer cant wait to check your a3s out!

Nice, I have a 06 silver A3 too, how are the H&R Coilovers? I don't have the money yet but I was thinking of those or a set from Tein. On the BBS CH, I like too, but I want Tenzo R's Tenzo Type M Version 1 Wheels, 18x8 is what im looking for, but remember tying in the height and width because somewhere on the forums the offset is important because standard A3's are 56mm and going down can cause rubbing if the suspension is that low. Good luck finding wheels and hope to see pics of your A3 because I really wanna see the coilover look.

They are lowered.

I don't wish to go any lower due to the winter up here and I like how the FSD rides, a good compromise when I do track my car. Another reason why I stuck with 18s, with my BBK, if I go 19 and go any lower, I will rub with 10mm spacers.

There are like 1000 threads with RS4 wheels on vortex. Do a search there, you will find tons. Just don't make a post there asking for pics as we have way too many threads on RS4 wheels there already, and someone will be pissed if you start another one.

Not sure what you mean, however, if you want low profile tires, Pirelli PZero line is generally lower and curves inward.

those are nice rims! 18s look pretty good when lowered! which rims do you have? do you have a side pic of your car? if so please post!

yea eltonsi, im thinking about the tires where the wall curves inwards. i dont like the tires where the walls go straight up. i usually see them on 19s rather than 18s. I heard alot about Pzeros that road noise is bad! any thoughts?
