Sounds like you are OK. Now buy the loaded A3 before you change your mind! [sm=signs003.gif]

I picked mine up at $500 over invoice. When I went to pick the car up the the salesman told me the base had gone up about $100 and that they would eat the price which they did. So your offer sounds right on the mark [sm=wootwoot.gif]now get it and enjoy.

I know I'm a little late...but I got mine a little over a week ago for invoice...so $600 over isn't bad at all, but you should try to talk them down more (or throw in some free stuff)

If it's a 07, that sounds good. If it is a left over 06, then no.

That may be true, depending on the dealer. But I got my 06 at invoice with out much trouble. They seemed very motivated to sell it the last day of 2006.

Probably.

I paid invoice for an '07 2.0T S-Tronic, S-Line, Cold, Tech, Open Sky with no maintanence pkg.

Wasn't an easy buy tho. I'd rather have my teeth pulled, humilitated in front of the public at a presentation, and owe back taxesthan go thrumy A3buying experience again.

That goes for any car buying experience, unless your rich and just don't care, yes i'll take that one[:-]

We have more and more information at our finger tips these days, I bet it really irritates the sales people.

i would like to hear more from everyone about their buying experiences, prices paid, dealer added fees to be wary of, etc..

is the invoice price listed on edmunds correct for an a3 2.0T.. $24,856

the invoice for the one i spec'd out (s-line, tech, cold and rear side airbags) is $29,899 and their TMV is $31,183...

should i be happy if i get to TMV or am i holding out for closer to invoice?

thanks all,

sbp
