rattle
I have had my 2008 A3 2.0 (black, manual transmission)since April and I love it. One minor problem. There seems to be a rattle comming from the seat belt housing (at the driver's left shoulder). Its just enough to drive me a little crazy but I'd rather not have to schedule a service appointment. Any ideas?

RE: rattle
The only one that sounds smart is schedule an apointment and have them double check all the seatbelt bolts. They may not have gotten completly tightened from the factory. If thats the case call and let them know that the sound is coming from the seatbelt. Since its a safety Item you should be in that exact same day. Nice part is seatbelts are a lifetime warranty garutneed buy our wonderful safety division here in the US

RE: rattle
At what position do you have the tensioner height? Mine intermittently make slight noises, but I've found that the best way to keep them quiet is to keep the height either all the way up or all the way down.

So I finally had my rattle checked out. It turns out that it was coming from the rubber housing between the drivers side window and top of the car. The took it out lubricated and reinserted. No more rattle. Great job Danbury (CT) Audi!

Ahh, the famous window seal rattle. That won't go away forever, so you might want to google a product called Gummi Pflege Stift. It works and several people here have used it.
