Revo Settings on 3.2
I finally got my Revo Select Plus switch so I can modify settings on my own. I have been running on Thottle:9 Fuel:4 Timing:5. Just bumped Fuel to 5 and Timing up to 6 and man did that make a positive difference. I am wondering if anyone has gone higher on Fuel. The switch manual suggested setting Fuel to 9 which would be the most lean setting from what I understand. I would think less fuel would make less power so I guess I am unsure about the whole air/fuel ratio thing. Regardless I am pretty happy with my Revo/Miltek setup. My only regret is I bought the 3.2 engine as I needed quattro and now I see the 2.0T is available with quattro which kills me as I would have gone that route and Revostage 2.
My longer term plan is to put the HPA turbo on my 3.2 and that will make something north of 400hp so in a few years I'll be happy I have the 3.2. I guess I will wait until I am at least 30k in since that turbo will kill the warranty for the engine I am sure.

Got myself a Select Plus as well. After difficulty getting even halfway acceptble MPG, my tuner and I settled on Throttle 9, Timing 6 and fuel 5. I have so far tried 9-5-5 and 9-5-4 in that order, but so far the 9-6-5 has been the best in all aspects.
Some here have said 6 is too high for timing unless running super high octane, but Revo and my tuner insist it is well within reasonable limits.
I'm not really sure what adjust the fuel, alone, will do. I'd like to find out, myself!

Yo Drum - Great to hear you got the select plus. I think you will be very happy when you add the miltek. I do agree with you 9ttl, 6tmg, 5fl seems to be best although when I called Revo I spoke with a guy there (can't remember name now) who said the fuel setting could go up to 6 to lean out the mix. The thing that confuses me is a higher lambda (leaner mix) generally means lower power and hotter combustion (which can lead to pulled back timing). Although the revo documentation said if you set Fuel to 9 it will target a lamda of .91 which according to the wikipedia info on air/fuel ration is still considered a rich mix relatively. So I am still confused. I am going to check up on the link eltonsi provided as he clearly knows what he is talking about but I am thinking of going back to 9, 6, 5 vs the 9, 6, 6 I am running today just to test. If you do get a response from Revo please post or let me know what you hear.

My daily setting is 7-5-6 for smooth ride and better gas milage. When I head to the track, it's 9-6-8 on 94 octane. It's really hard to find the "best" A/F ratio as it depends on a lot of variables. It's just trail and error for me.

From George at Revo:
With the fuel setting, the lower the number the closer to a factory A/F (richer) the requested lambda is. The higher the number, the more performance oriented (leaner) the requested lambda is.
But I got no input on what the best numbers are, presumably because the software isn't one size fits all.
