Rims on 2007 Audi a3 too big need advice.
Hello everyone , i currently have a 2007 Audi a3 2.0t with 19" TSW rims everything fits and is aligned. However I've read that factory recommends 17" to 18". Stupid Salesman told me it would work . I've Noticed wear in the inner tire, that resembles rubbing. This develops after months. i've replaced one tire already and one almost to that point, and that point being worn all the way to the metal. which it wont retain air anymore.
If anyone has any kind of solution Please replay, any kind of help is very appreciated!

You're running 19" rims? Geez, I consider 18" rims too big (or more correctly a tire with a sidewall height of 3.5" is too small); drop the sidewall height down to 3.0" and 19" wheels become even more impractical.
So, my advice would be to drop down to 17" rims and 225/45 R17 tires; not only will your tire wear issues be remediated (assuming the rest if the suspension is in good shape and everything properly aligned), but your ride AND handling should be improved as well (to say nothing of the extra impact absorption capabilities of such a setup).

You mean like raising the height inside the fenders for more clearance? If so the I'm thinking that's highly unlikely. Why? The area surrounding the inner fenders of most late model cars, Audis included, are jam packed full of necessary components. Sorry to say it, but it sounds like your car is all "bling" and no "go".
