RS 4s or S6 Rims for TT
Hi guys!
I'm supposed to get my new TT this thursday and will have my first mod done before the car even leaves Audi. I'm going to be putting 19" OEM Audi rims on my car and can't decide between the RS4 style that I have on my current A3 or go for the S6 rims. My TT is Ibis White and I am going to try Dunlop for the tires...loved the look of the tread pattern (I know, stupid reason to buy a tire) but also in 19" size they are about $100 cheaper per tire than the Michelin PS 2s, so I will give them a try.
Here are a couple of pics, the A3 is mine(er...was mine...sadness!). In judging, please note, the S6 rim pic is WAY better than the pic I took of the RS4s! Remember, 19s on a TT...what do you like better?
Thanks for everyone's input! I'll post pics of the results when I see them too!

I vote for the S6 wheels, but I think either would be OK. Did you look at the Toyo Proxes T1-R's? Nice tread pattern and very sticky. I have a set on the V50 T5. Looking forward to seeing your photo's.

Sleep?
well...I am in Taipei...so 15 hours difference.
As for sleeping...I run my own business and have contracts in Taiwan, China, Singapore and California...so that is sleep is a relative condition!
Plus...mobile internet access and a passion for Audi can make forums somewhat addictive in the few minutes of downtime between things!
Got the rims...went for the S6s!
When do you get your car Canuck?

i get OEM rims here but not through Audi. Cheaper, and also, if you damage one, you can just replace one, instead of buying another set.
That said, the rims are still not cheap. Just about $1000US per rim. plus tire...!

Hi Fusion...$1000...welcome to Taiwan car prices...it's actually quite cheap.
If you try to import something....they will tax it at the border...and even worse...if you damaged a rim...can you really wait six weeks for a replacement? I've just gotten used to it...ex-pats can earn more here, and income taxes are low....so I think it evens out in the end.
It's Thursday morning here now, I'm picking the car up tonight, so I'll have pics up pretty soon!
