S4 Wheel Fitment on A3
Hey I was just wondering if there was any way I could fit 2007 S4 wheels on my 2007 A3. My friend got new wheels on his s4 and I really want his old powder coated black S4 wheels which are 18". I had them put on by my local auto customization shop and they test drove it and said that they wouldn't work. It's probably because his car his AWD and mine is FWD but I'm not really sure. Is there anything I can do to make them fit?

The S4 wheelshave the wrong offset by about 20mm will rub on the outside. Spacers will only make it worse.
Sorry, the shop was correct. Nothing short of flaring your fenders will make them fit. Alternative wheels would be several thousand less.

they will fit but you may have some rubbing.
i had 06 S4 wheels on my car for a bit. the offset for those as well as 07 S4 wheels should be et43. they sat almost flush with the fenders.
i did rub a bit in the back on the stock sport suspension going over large bumps or cornering hard, but i never removed the rear screws. changing from 235 to 225 tires would've helped a lot.

nope. rubbing would only occur in the back while really driving hard in corners or with passengers in the back over dips/bumps at speed.
like i said, switching to 225 tires would have solved it.
