SAFE mode
 

Hi all, trust you can help.
I was overseas for over a month and I disconnected the battery on my 2006 Audi A3 before I left. On return, now it's showing SAFE mode on speedo and won't run. Does any body have the secret to fixing it? Desperate!

I found the fix through Google and it's not related to the radio. Just turn the ignition on for 20 minutes and the SAFE symbol on the speedometer will go away and the car will no longer be disabled.
