September 2013 A3 Saloon rear speaker
 

The rear speaker in my A3 Sport TFSI four door saloon (just out of warranty) is continuously making a crackling noise even with the fader all the way to the front.
I want to see if it is just a fauly speaker by removing it and getting it checked. However, I can't see how to remove it. I have prised up the speaker cover on top of the parcel shelf and removed the four screws around the speaker but it looks like the whole parcel shelf has to come out first and that probably means removing more panels from the boot.
Can anyone give me the correct method of removing this speaker.
