Hey All-
I have my 5k service coming up on the 24th and I wanted to try to reset my stock settings well in andvance so in case there was a problem, I could complain to you all.

I was following the instructions and I could not get that rumbling power to stop coming through. Here is what I was doing:

1. Turn ignition on (not the engine, just the electronics)-but I did try it with the engine on once
2. Flip sps to Number 1 (I did try 0 as well)
3. Insert to slot after 10 seconds of ignition being on
4. Wait for an allusive beep that never happened (seat belt beep, yes, sps, no)
5. Pound my head on the steering wheel.
6. Turn on engine-test and retest, no change

What am I doing wrong? I followed SPS 1 instructions correctly, correct?

I have the SPS device and it works great.

Turn ignition on, but not engine
Turn SPS to 1 for stock setting
Insert SPS into OBDII port - then mine beeps within 1-2 seconds
Remove SPS device
Turn ignition off
Turn ignition back on, then start the car

If you are having a problem with the device. I suggest contacting your REVO dealer and letting them know about the problem. They can switch your program back to stock, and should replace the faulty SPS device.

I dont know if my sales experience was unique compared to yours, but i hit it off with my salesman and sales mgr. To where we talked about tuning the car and where to go and what to get etc. This dealership had its own motosport div. Last week i went in for my 5k service and totally forgot to switch my setting back to apr stock mode, not one thing was mentioned, they were all just complimenting me on my oetty kit, instead of warning me about the chip mode i left the car in. Best advice is to call your revo dealer and try to have them walk you through it step by step. good luck. Damn i just noticed i duplicated what chef told you to do .
