Squeaky Windows Driving me nuts..
I guys,
Audi A3 8L 1997 3 Door electric
When i wind either driver / passenger windows down, the most incredibly annoying sqeauk starts where the rubber on the extrernal face grips the window too tight. The noise is most noticible (and embarrasing) during the summer when its warm outside. In the winter, when it's less than say 10C i dont hear a thing.
I took the car to the audi dealership and they are quoting me £220 thats like almost 400 dollars. The rubber seals themselves are only 50 pounds (80 dollars) and the rest is labour.
Anyone got any advice as to how i can rectify this issue myself?
