Stealth subwoofer install for 8L & 8P models
#12
Dear Andy,
My english is not that good, and I don't understand your explanation for SB chassis. I get that there are some trouble with scoops (Google translate it as spoon... and I don't know what spoon are you talking about).
I would love to know if you can explain in plain English the real reason for not being able to fit your sub enclosure into the SB.
I don't mind doing some metal work (cutting a small piece to make the room bigger) if with that adjustment, the box fits. I haven't been able to find any single manufacturer of sub boxes for Sportback, and I don't know if it is because it's just impossible... or if there is a solution for it, even if it is annoying.
The other solution is to do a fiberglass enclosure, but I really prefer to have one in DM wood, sincerely.
So please, if you can explain this:
1. It is possible or IMPOSSIBLE to fit your box in the SB?
2. If it is possible, what are the steps in order to adjust the box or the car room to fit it?
Thanks a lot for responding back this thread after five years!!!!
