RE: superchip

by "superchip" im guessing you mean he got his car "chipped" or re-flashed. The job could be a 15min process of loading the flash program into your car or if you go for an APR chip you have to take out the ECU in your car and ship it to them which takes about a week.

some companys that "chip" your car would be: <a href="http://www.goapr.com"><font size=1>APR</text></A>
<a href="http://www.giacusa.com"><font size=1>GIAC</text></A>
<a href="http://"http://www.revotechnik.com"><font size=1>REVO</text></A>

Each seem to run about $500, without adding any extra programs. and both of your cars have the same 1.8t engine in them. The 5 valve on your engine cover means 5 valves per cylinder.
