TDI Fest in Canada
 

Hey, I thought that I'd pass along a really cool event for all TDI owners. The event this year will be held in Montreal. It's worth attending, even if you don't own a TDI. Really cool people and events.

TDIFest 2007 (http://www.tdiclub.com/tdifest) is right around the
corner, and we are looking for a few good Diesel fans. We have planned a
fun-filled Labour Day weekend with YOU in mind! We have scheduled some
informative sessions such as a talk with Stanadyne (the fuel additive
company) and ELF Motor Oil along with tech sessions based on your
suggestions. We have people ready to educate you on the various ins and outs of
your TDI.

To fuel the competitive nature, we've arranged a scavenger hunt and
driving skills event. Come on out and brush up on your driving accuracy.
Join our traditional Show and Shine event on Sunday. This is where a
little spit 'n' polish just may have you bringing home a trophy! Your car
need not be a 'Modded Monster' to win. Oftentimes it's the well cared
for daily driver that takes home the prize. TDI friendly vendors will
be set up near the Show and Shine event on Sunday. This is where
you'll meet the people you order your tools, timing belts and TDI heaters
from! You never know what 'Show Deals' you may find during the Fest, and
remember - you save shipping charges if you pick up products on site.
If you're lucky, you'll win what you planned on buying in our raffle!

On Sunday night the Fest draws to a close with the Awards Banquet and
Not So Silent Auction. Fred will address us with a 'State of the Union
' address, getting us up to date on all website news and stats. Come
find out who was the best driver or who's car won the coveted 'People's
Choice' award for 2007. Come bid on that one item that you've always
wanted for your car, and won't find anywhere else at this price. All
proceeds from this and our raffle go to support and run our website.

Our location this year is Montreal, Canada. There are plenty of family
friendly venues nearby if you want to make this into a vacation for all
ages, such as the Montreal Botanical Gardens, Museum of Fine Arts,
