I don't need anything fancy with up/down speed and/or memory or any of that stuff.

All I need is a basic single button so when I reach the speed I want, I simply press it and the car holds the speed. If I need to adjust my speed I'm happy to do that with the accelerator pedal and brake pedal.

It's simply for holding speed on motorway so I don't have to get ankle ache during 250 miles motorway journeys.

My car is a 2001/2002 Audi A3 1.6 Sport manual 3-door model. Nice car, but not worth enough to spend a fortune on a cruise control unit. I won't even bother calling Audi as I'm sure they will want between £500 and £1000.

I'm in the UK and only want to spend minimum money. £200 maximum.

I am talking basic here. Not quite resting a brick on the accelerator pedal, but in that basic ballpark.

I'm based in Bluntisham, Cambridgeshire so somewhere within a 70 mile radius would be good.

Thanks all,

Nigel
