? for those of you that have chipped your car
I have not chipped my car yet, but do have a question for you. I noticed a fuel station by my house was advertising that they carry 100 octane fuel. That got me to thinking, if you are chipped and you have multiple programs (ie 91/93, 100, stock) and you normally run the 91/93 program but want to switch over to the 100 program, do you have to drain your tank? Or do you just run it downpretty low and then put the 100 in with whats left of whatever you were running prior?

When I fill up with 100 I usually run my tank until the trip computer reads 0 miles. Based on my experience, once I'm at 0 miles to empty I found that I have about 5 miles left before she dies.

I have a station close to my work that sells 105 octane, so all you need are good math skills to find 100 octane. Although, I only have the 93 program.[&o] I'd like to have the 100 program, but it already hurts to switch from 93 back to 91. I could only imagine the let down from 100 to 91.
Cheers!

Thanks for the input guys. Wishing there was a place here locally where I could go to get chipped. Looks like I am going to have to go to Dallas to get the APR software loaded. Just not looking forward to having to go back down there if I have a prob. 3 hours away kinda sucks.
