My opinion. Depending on the weather you get - Continental ContiExtreme Contacts had them put on back in September 2008. Love them, no complaints.

I'm on my 3rd set of tires and none of them have done well. Each time the tire starts off fine, but somewhere around the half life of the tire they start to make noise and lose traction. The last set was the worst, Yoko S.Drives, which were stellar for the first 5k miles and the last 5k have been the loudest ever. My car is a bit more of a commuter now so I put less high performance tires in hopes of a quieter, smoother ride. So far the new tires are quiet, but performance sucks. If your car isn't heavily modified than you probably wouldn't notice much of a difference.

I noticed that Tirerack.com is giving away a TomTom with the purchase of the ContiExtreme and they are only $134 each. I would probably jump on it at that price.

From Tirerack.com:

Wow Chef. Good find. I just checked out the Tire Rack site - they have the ContiExtremeContact All-Seasons going for 114.00 a piece. And with a free TomTom.

I also need new tires on my 2008 A-3 Quattro. I live in Pittsburgh so I need All Weather. Got 15,000 miles on my OEM tires and they are "square." Would like to get a little more mileage than that. Any suggestions.

I have the bfgoodrich t/a g-force tires, there awesome in the snow with there wide tread pattern, but also have great traction in summer conditions too. But they are very LOUD!! Sounds like i'm driving a big redneck truck lol. They have side wall inserts for less tire roll.
