Default TLC for wife's A3

Well quick follow up to see if we can get some people looking into the A3 area again. This place seems so dead compared to the A6 group - very sad.

Anyhow I worked on my wife's A3 over the weekend (actually more like 2 weekends ago) and modified the front bumper grille as she requested.

It took me 3 hours to take the front bumper off and detach all the grille parts from the bumper and chrome framing (without breaking any of the plastic pieces off). I painted the chrome frame to a gloss black and the actual grille to a mat black. Next I painted the fog light covers in a mat black as well.
I also used a diamond mesh to go behind the fog light covers while removing the ugly bulk flat plastic cover. I simply went to home depot bought a 8$ diamond mesh and cut into as needed. Afterwards painted it with a high gloss black, zip tied it to the fog light and used high temp glue to attach it.

Results can be seen in the attachment.

Now my next projects are installing a BSH oil catch can, Forge blow off valve kit and a new cam follower. I'll post some pictures once that is complete if you guys are interested.
