Default VMR VB3 Wheels

Hey guys,

I am looking into changing my wheels and tires. I am looking into the vmr vb3 for my 2007 A3 S-Line. I believe the stocks are 225/45 17. Couple questions:

1) What's the reputation on the brand VMR? Is it reliable and strong? (meaning, if I hit a pot hole by accident, it's not going to dent on me or anything and whatnot)

2) What's a good spec if I went for 18's instead of the regular stock 17's? What are my options with 18's? (will it rub against my fenders?)

Much appreciated,
ap0de

1) VMR is starting to build a solid reputation for providing good wheels at reasonable prices. I've not seen any reports of problems with their quality. No wheel is bulletproof though and if you go with 18's you will need a lower profile tire=less air/rubber to absorb those potholes=possible bends/cracks.

2) Most of the wheel/tire websites have a calculator that will let you know what the recommended tire is to use with different size wheels. I'm too lazy to linky you one ATM.....sorry
