Is it correct that one cannot purchase a manual tranny A3 with quattro? I was seriously considering an A3 and went to the website only to notice if you select manual tranny, you only have front wheel drive options.. weird!!

unfortunately America isn't getting quattro 2.0t A3's. I too wanted a manual quattro A3 but I'm pretty satisfied with my A3. I was just on Germany's configurator and they offer 1.8t manual quattro A3's... if only the S3 came out here lol. Have you checked out the A4? They still offer 2.0t quattro manuals

 

There is the MTM S3 clone, but at $50,000 it's a bit too rich for me and probabaly why Audi is not bringing it to the US

 

If it was a huge deal to you it could be done, although the 3.2 is also an awesome engine
