Default Weight of stock rims?

Anyone know how much do the stock wheels weigh? the 17" exactly like these:

I'm thinking of buying some 18" BBS CV wheels, but they weigh 25.5 lbs. I wasn't sure if theyre too heavy.

hmm I found a similar post by doing a forum search. It seems they're about 25 lbs too. But they might be different rims, well anyways, I couldn't find an option to delete my post, so I'll leave it.

and if someone has the exact weight of the rims I posted on the picture, I'd love to know what it is.

My scale says 24.5 lbs for the stock 17X7.5-56mm rims. The inside of the wheel says Ronal, made in Poland.

The BBS are heavier, but try to usae a tire that's a couple pounds lighter, and keep the whole package to ~50Lbs.

A lot of UHP summer tires have heavy sidewalls (stiff ride, lots of tread noise, great handling). Run-flats have very heavy sidewalls and perform like it (stiffer ride, lots of tread noise, not-so great handling). A Conti SuperContact 2 225/45-17 weighs about 20Lbs. A Bridgestone RE-050 RFT in the same size weighs 27. Dunlop Direzza Star Spec and Bridgestone RE-01r both weigh around 25.

Running OZ Ultraleggera 8X18s and the Conti SC2s in 225/40-18 will give a 40Lb package and a 10Lb per wheel reduction in unsprung weight. This will be very noticeable in the most positive way. Conversely, the BBS CV with a BS RE-050 RFT will be pushing 53lbs and will feel noticeably worse in handling and ride.

Cool thanks for the advice!

I was actually thinking of buying the OZ ultraleggeras at first, but they say they bend easily? do you know?

The OEM 16-spoke 17" wheels, as shown in that photo, weigh 27-28 lbs each according to my scale. I've weighed them several times and keep getting that (heavy) result. I put on 20.5 lb 17" wheels with 22 lb Toyo T-1R's and noticed a definite improvement in ride quality.
