What are these things on the dash???
 

Guys, any idea what these two black covers are on the top of the dash? They have wires going into them so they are some kind of sensor I'm guessing. Ive attached a picture

not exactly sure but one of them blinks when the alarm is armed.

Really? What system do they provide Tilt sensing for? Suspension?

For the alarm, so it will go off if they try to tow the car away.

I see. Well Ive unplugged them at the moment haha. Im installing a 7inch screen in where that speaker was for Sat Nav, TV etc etc. The Audi Double Din system is too exspensive and you have to really take your eyes of the road to look at it. I will have to make a slot for these two sensors to go back into place now they are considered important lol. Thanks for your help guys. Ill post I pic of my system when its finished :-)
