I imagine it would be harder to sell a manual A3 than the DSG mostly because the DSG is faster than the manual and not as many people are man enough to drive stick

All in time though! Wish you luck!

Personally I'd say 2 things. According to Edmunds, you've got it priced too high. A bone stock '06 A3 with 14K miles shows a private party price of $18,300 (dealer retail of $19,300). When I sold my 2-year old G35 with 15K miles (bone stock, 6MT), I had a hard time getting close to the Private Party price. There's just a much smaller pool of buyers on stick shift vs automatics, especially when you don't have any options on the car. Someone is just as likely to pop an extra $1K for a car that has several more options than yours does if they are close in mileage and price. Also, I'd say ditch the pics of the canoes on top of the car - makes it look like the car might get subjected to a lot more wear and tear as a transport vehicle, where you might also stash wet grimy gear inside the car as well. Good luck.

Don't know where else you have been advertising it, but ebay and maybe autotrader seem like the most popular for used cars.

You want $20K for a 2 year old car when you can get an 08 for $25K before discounts. I was offered an 08 base for $23,500 when I got my 08..

$16,000 is more of a real price for it..
