Default Will a torque arm insert solve this problem?

I have a 2006 2.0T 6MT, bone stock. I do a lot of city driving. My wife thinks the ride is too jerky and she hates when her head snaps back when I shift from 1st to 2nd or from 2nd to 3rd.

BTW, even when I try to shift as smoothly as I can and very deliberately, she still says she still doesn't feel as comfortable in my car as in an automatic car.

My questions -
1) Will a torque arm insert help smooth out the gear shifts?
2) I am more interested in comfort than performance. What brand of these inserts would you guys recommend for me?

TIA!

Exclamation

1) a torque arm will help a little, but seeing you have MT, a short-shift kit might help as well.

2) I bought the BSH insert and do not really think there is much difference between manufacturer's, I could be wrong.
