Whenever i lock my car using the key chane the beep is pretty low. You can hear it but its nothing like my other cars. Is this normal for an audi?

yea...the alarm basically sucks....you can hear it w/in a 20 ft. radius

Did all 96+ audi's come with the alarm.

I never got the remote when I bought it. I lock it with the doors, get the honk and the little flashing LED. I tried shaking the hell out of the car and the alarm doesn't go off.


When I first got it I didn't know that I could roll up the windows with the key. My friends fiance told me about it...I thought that was a cool feature.

 

how can you role up the windows with the key?

 

when you lock the doors, turn the key again and hold it, it will roll up your windows

 

I consider the low volume beep a feature. I hate the loud ones.

 

Insert key in keyhole in driver door. Turn clockwise to roll UP and lok windows....turn counterclockwise to unlock and roll DOWN windows

i can't roll my windows down, maybe I was doing it wrong.
