Default "Secret A4 codes??????

I've been reading about these "Secret Codes" that you can put into ur a4 to have the digital speed read out instead of the temperature. Whats going with these? Will they f* up my car? Does anyone know what they are?

there are things you can do with the climate controls to get these readouts check audiworld someone here has a link...
