**UPDATE**My BOV on B6 1.8T**Throwing codes like a ****
Well,
Just the other day I installed my Forge-004 on my B6 1.8T CVT. The car drove great for the first couple hours, then it threw the engine check light at me. So I repositioned the BOV before the T eliminating the reservoir. I then re-set the ecu, and again it drove good today. Tonight the engine check light came back, and its not driving the same.
In conclusion, I do not need this hassle and don't want to mess my car up. I ordered a new stock dv and should have it next week. In the mean time I will drive minimanly and as soon as the sock dv arrives I WILL remove the Forge004.
Nothing but troubles [&o]

You're doing it wrong.
Anyway, you don't even need anything better than your stock dv. You're not even chipped.

RE: **UPDATE**My BOV on B6 1.8T**Throwing codes like a ****
you probably jsut broke or disconnected a vacuum line or some electrical connector somewhere while trying to install the BOV. Did you inspect the BOV before installing it, or just take it out of the box and try to put it in? If you post the codes you got, we can probably tell you if it's a vacuum leak, etc... and help troubleshoot.

Is it close at idle?
I think you have missfiring and spark plugs will blacked out versy soon and car will start to die randomly, then it will be hard to start it. keep a spare park plugs and the tools with you for incase.
go to advance auto parts to see your CEL codes. they check it for free
