Just get it socketed, and before you go for service, switch it out for the stock unit. Socketing costs like $100 more, but you'll prob save in getting things fixed under warranty. Also other manufacturers have a remote switch that will change it back to the stock settings using a switch inside the car.</P>
APR has a lockout you can get so it won't be detected. Also - per warranty, if your problem is not a direct relation to your mod, they should fix it.</P>
In other words - if you play, be prepared to pay.</P>
Depends on how much of an increase you go for. Neuspeeds, I beleive, is relatively low. As you go for more... you'll need some add-ons to assist with the power (BPV, intercoolers, exhaust, etc.)</P>

You just may want to do some research before you go into it. I suggest picking a brand you're comfortable with (and has a local distributor... just in case issues do arise) and then give them the "if - then" situations.</P>
