Voltage too high?

14v is not uncommon when the alternator is running. A4's have a strong alternator compared to many cars.

However - does it stay at 14 volts when the key is in the accessory position and the car is not running? If so then you probably have a problem.

Voltage too high?

mine almost always reads 14v. only goes down when i turn on my lights.
