01 S4 xenons in my 98.5 A4?
I got an offer from a gentleman to buy his one-piece 2001 S4 xenon headlights (bulbs etc. not included, of course), and I'm not sure if I should take it. I want one pieces with clear corners, but don't know if this is going to be a huge ordeal to get them in my car.
Plus, I'm not sure whether it is worth the trouble to keep my halogen bulbs and modify 'em, or upgrade to the xenon with a kit (do they just sell the bulbs/ballasts/wiring?).
Let me know what you guys think.

the s4/a4 have the same headlights i believe up to 2001. The one pieces do not fit in your car stock. If you do a search, you will find your answer. It is not very hard to make them fit.....just some cutting.

OH believe me, I've searched all over here, AZ, AW to find everything I could on the topic - but I'm more concerned with the possible xenon switchover than I am with some simple fender cutting. You think it's worth it?
Plus they're going for 300 bones.

well, somebody has a xenon kit going for below 300 dollars that a couple people have on this site and like it a lot. It is not a very difficult install either...and if I had an extra 300 I would own it. It is just no in the cards for me right now.

minor cutting to the fenders to make the one piece fit and you can get oem hid's from www.oemhid.com for under $300 shipped i have them as well as many others with out problems. The install is simple even if your not mechanically inclined. I would suggest 5000k bulbs if you go with hid the 4300k just doesn't cut it for me...
