add crank sensor or speed sensor to dies while driving had that happen to me a bunch of times not funn

I have an Audi 1.8T 2005
This vehicle was running with a slight missfire from #2 coil, I then removed the elect connection to find bear wires, taped those and re-connected ...now the engine does not start .... no spark!
Can anyone advise?

I have a 98 audi a4 1.8t Quattro 5 speed with 148k on it after setting and idling for a few minutes the engine will either cut out for a second or die if it cuts out the rims drop and then shoot up and then go back to 800rpms only does it when at idle any ideas I do have VAG com for it but it doesn't have any lights on
