1.8t engine replacement
 
Since I blew my 1.8t in my 99 a4 FWR...I am wondering if I can replace it with a 2002 Jetta 1.8t???
Can anyone help me?

Good question. I'm not sure. I can only think of (2) possible probelms: wiring harness differences and possible block differences from different engine codes. The wiring harness shouldn't be a probelm if you are just swapping blocks and valve assemblies.

they are very similar, if you do so, you migh end up making coustom engine suport.

I remember the old 1.8 could been used in both cars. the 1.8 in audi 80/90 could be used in passat and jeta, etc... just do reasearch first.
