I m interested too about hose differencies.

Are they like old 01E and 2000 01E (S4) ? the previous has small first gear and the second has bigger first gear and stronger....

I tought its only a matter of gear ratios..... !

The V6 tranny 01A is stronger right ?

thanks

any link to know better about those trannies ? on the A4s

WTF are you talking about
The 93-95 or more, S4(01E tranny) have a small gear for the first and the other S4 around 2000 have wider first gear. They moded the S4 tranny to improve durability for high power engine as S4 around 2000...

I was thinking about they did the same thing to the 01A trannies.

If you want more read article about 01E trannnies
