Hey guy if any one got some thing close to my car could you check where the wire for intercooler sensor coming from to plug into the intercooler, it seems like i lost my and can't find it any where.

intercooler is in the left of the engine , there is one wire connects to it

Only 2000+ engines have the intercooler sensor (MAP sensor). You shouldnt have one.

 

are you sure ? because i smashed my old one and bought this one from 2001 year and it got a sensor plug in there, and they should be the same.

 

No, 2000+ intercoolers have the map sensor, and pre 2000 does not. So it makes sense that the IC from the 01 that you got would have it, yet you have no wire to plug into it with. Just leave the sensor in there and dont worry about it.

Yup, just dont take the sensor out of the IC or it will leak boost.

So how i understand it if i live that 2001 IC in my 1997 car it should run ok

 

Yeah it should hook up to your intercooler piping on the bottom/front of the car, and also to the throtle body hose. Thats all you should have to worry about.

 

ohh **** , so the sensor plug should be bottom front ? i have it top rear i guess i place intercooler upside down
