Just recently the other night i had left my Cobra radar in the 12v cig adapter overnight which i thought might have drained my battery because when i woke up in the morning i realized it was still plugged in but my car didnt start at first but it managed to turn over shortly after, Im pretty sure the battery died because the radio went into safe mode.

I drove the car for about 45 mins after that no radar plugged in or anything to charge the battery, it read 14v on my gauge and seemed fine. I woke up this morning to go to work and went to start my car...seemed like the engine and battery had enough power and turned over fine, but then all of the sudden just stopped mid start like the car shorted out, and once again i retried right after and it started right up, but once again with radio in safe mode.

This is a bone stock car with the exception of springs, exhaust, no chips, or any engine mods.
The only i can think of is that i installed new 6.5" rear speakers about 5 days ago with no problems, that is the only thing i could think of me screwing something up on, but the installation was pretty straight forward and self explanitory.

i always leave my radar plugged in and it shuts off in like a min to save battery. i think you might have a bad battery. go get it checked at like autozone or something. battery always gives people trouble in the winter

 

Yea im going to go do that today, and the winter thing would be true except in my case i live in florida haha :P
