Seem to have trouble putting my car in gear (manual), whether in be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or reserse. I press clutch in and extremely hard to shift. Does that mean I need a new clutch prolly? Thanks for help

 

Should mention when the problem started last night, car left off a weird smell

 

may not be, for starters i'd check under the boot on shifter itself and see if the bushings have broken or if a retaining clip has popped and is getting in the way. while it IS possible you need a new clutch, i'd start with the easy choice, and check the shifter and linkage itself.
